StillSmokin in December

Post by StillSmokin »

Well, got back on Wednesday, sadly having to go to work on the Thursday. Even though only a few days ago I was wandering around the Dam with my choice of all the lovely CoffeeShops out there it's already starting to feel like a long time ago. So, already thinking of when I'll be able to come back again...

Anyway, back to the trip, the moment stepped off the train headed straight towards Rokerij and surprisingly enough didn't get hit by having the usual sleepy feel after hitting the CS's that I normally do.

Onto the purchased smoke list, there are quite a few that I've forgotten, especially at the end...

Rokerij
cc ? not bad quite nice easy smoke good taste,
ssh - nice, potent, drier, more crumbly

Dampkring
Kali Mist - i like

Kadinsky
White Russian
Brown Sugar - a bit like caramello

Dutch Flowers
Nepalese Temple Ball - really oozing and stretchy,
Budha Cheese - ok, nice n cheesy

Dolphins, yeah, people seem right about the bitchy BT, lol she did make me laugh though (not allowed suitcase, but as it was just me he was cool-ish), seats were nice n comfy and weed was good.
Northern lights - crumbled and fluffed up a treat, nice numbing taste and feel

Amnesia - recognised BT,gave me free pack skins, good lad
Old School Haze - Nice, tasty
Amnesia Shiraz - resin, numbing smell, really nice

Baba
Jack Herer - not that great, didn't even taste like JH.

Hill Street Blues
Hill ST Special - nice n cheap for hash mixes

Hunters
G13 amnesia - tasty

420
420 haze - v tasty, perfect dryness.

Amnesia
Amnesia shiraz - again, really good in cocktails, gives good full smoke

HGF
Cheese psychosis
Skuff - nice spicy smell/taste

Grey Area
Goden Soles - not harsh, but verging on it, nice powerful taste to it though
Chcolope - mmmm, full and tasty lovely smelling smoke.

Rusland
thai - tastier than i thought it would be, wouldn't normally be tempted, but saw the nice big Thai Stick bud and thought mmm, but still usual dry stuff though.

Basjoe
Jack Herer - now that's more like it :) JH is one of my faves, pity was let down by Baba earlier.

Voyagers
Kushdee - v tasty, perfect dryness

Rokerij - Northern Lights I think - not too sure, got this before leaving, tasty old skool memories.

So, out of them all, I think that my fav's this time were:
Grey Area - Chocolope
Voyagers - Kushdee
Dutch Flowers - Nepalese Temple Ball.

Oh if only we had this lovely selection in the UK, but until then, Amsterdam feels more like home to me, oh well, until next time...

Just love to try a few new ones each time and re-visit some old trusty ones. Heard the Transhimalayan name a few times now, think I'll have to make a note to give that one a blast next time 8)

Cheers Cattales, was there from the Saturday till Wednesday, I tried my hardest  and I def managed to leave a few out especially at the end as I completely forgot what they were and hadn't written it down, d'oh. Pretty sure I went to 420 and HGF again, also got some Bubblegum from somewhere, that was quite nice. Ahh, happy daze.

Make sure to have an extra puff for me puffpuff :D was quite surprising how much too dry or damp stuff actually encountered in various CS's and that Kushdee did stick out as pretty much exactly how I liked it.

Oh, just remembered:

Bluebird
Pavarti Pollen - BT said it was an Indian strain but grown in Morocco. Not as nice as last batches I've had from there before, one of my regular ones each time I visit.

Also reminds me that I did see some Pavarti Cream on the menu in 420, but they'd run out each time I went there, so that's another for the list next time if they still have it as I like the Bluebird's one so tempted by any other Pavarti types just to see.
