Watched the first of the new episodes last night, very funny and poignant at times.
I never saw the spin off from the original film,so i'm a bit lost with some of it, but still well worth watching as a stand alone mini series..... Good call "ftcarer" and well worth recording "cisco" if you have the space!

Do whatever it takes to watch This is England 86 artymac, it's crucial to the whole story and imo some of the best tv ever made.

Will see if I can find that "Boner". That's the very thing I say to family and friends with other TV series and books I've seen and read. If you watch it in the correct order you'll get so much more out of it!! So it looks like i'll be following more of the advice I give out and finding some space and recording it!! Cheers.

It's basically a slice of English life, the movie came first which I think was set in 1982, then This is England '86 and now This is England '88 both of these have been 3 episodes each, I doubt it's available in the US (it was made by Film 4, I dont know if that will help).
