It's a tricky one. I've been to Holland 6 or 7 times now, and I have found that the attractive ones are unreal, but in general the dress sense and standard isn't particularly good. Especially when compared to somewhere like Brighton, england where I live.

Anyway, anyone seriously fancies meeting with a few guys on this date give us a shout for some tokes and talks etc. (and no I don't just mean women )

Do you mean that wearing leggings under a skirt looks bad? You prefer bare legs, tights or pantyhose on a woman in winter. Bit cold for that.

I think leggings look nice under a skirt as long as one wears boots and not the après-ski type of F(UGGS). UGGS actually make some cute boots.
Someone wonderful on this board rocks them during the winter and always looks cute.

Since we are already a bit of topic...guys (not all of you) when women want to see your undies, they'll let you know m-kay?

I used to adore leggings under a skirt. Its just that this is what about 110% of the ladies wear here, winter or summer

@OP In my experience, I find that if try to keep my voice down, don't get too high /drunk and sloppy and basically mind my manners (lol) I meet lots of interesting people in the dam.

During a visit to AMS in the 90's, before the global McDonaldsization of our bodies really took hold and the Dutch ladies were even slimmer, I thought I'd combine an appreciation of their figures on bikes with the general keeping an eye out for the hazards the bikes present to we peds. I ended up getting my face caught in the spokes of one gal's bike. And then another, later that day. Should have donned some kind of grill protection gear, like a hockey mask, Jason-style. Now that I'm older the only thing that gets caught is my walker.
