Hotel Avenue

Post by Lloydy »

Stayed here in early December

The price is very reasonable for such a great location, it's very central and located in the main street running parallel behind the Damrak. The rooms are clean and spacious enough for Dam standards, it has a lift for those less mobile and a large buffet breakfast selection in the mornings. I definitely recommend staying here but it is non-smoker friendly, they have notices stating tough penalties on the walls

Nice hotel and only a few minutes walk from Centraal Station. As long as you don't stand right in front of the door you'll be fine. Resin is across the street with Betty Boop, Ben, and 420 about 5 minutes walking.

Peace

HGF is just a bit further down the street and Anyday is in the street behind too :D

there is also free wi-fi in the rooms which is a great bonus, although the signal was intermittent in the room we stayed in

wifi was good, but we were on the first floor. we smoked in the alley just at the side of the main entrance it was windy and cold but it still worked out quite well for us, spent most the time in the coffeeshops or raving anyway!

I haven't stayed in this hotel myself but what about sending them a email asking. If not there are spacious lockers that you can use to store suitcases which are cheap and very close to your location.
