Stayed there earlier this month and yes, the windows do open, but only slightly.

They seem to have massively bumped up their prices recently which is a shame. I remember paying aroun €85 a night for a double but it is more like €150 now

Just had a look myself and for when we are going (early October) it's almost £600 for 5 nights, which isn't bad but ceratinly there are cheaper hotelslazerbeam wrote:Lloydy wrote:They seem to have massively bumped up their prices recently which is a shame. Re: Hotel Avenue
Does this hotel have a good air conditioner???..
Re: Hotel Avenue
Define good. While it does have AC, if you're from the States its nothing like at home. Amsterdam rarely gets hot enough to need a super cold AC. It will do the job unless you are one of those that need it to be cold as polar bear balls in your room..Veggie wrote:Does this hotel have a good air conditioner???..
Are you stoned? Like a gravel road bitch, like a gravel road!
Re: Hotel Avenue
Well I'm there in early oct so it should be cool at night...I do like my balls like polar bears but it's not a requirement ......what I like is a cool room and I like it when the air makes a slight humming sound....helps me sleep like a baby
Re: Hotel Avenue
Anyone stayed here recently? What did you pay for the room?

Really Matty? Care to elaborate? How much should I be bidding in late March? I'm booked in for one night as a stop over for 75eu for a single. If I can get a double for cheaper that would be great.
How much did you produce?
