Yes of course it's our right to protest , but imo for any movement to be taken serious they need to do things like this properly , not just an ad hoc protest


As Iv said above one of the cruxs of the opposition is that foreigners cause nuisance when they come to Holland/Netherlands , so how is thousands of people doing just that helping the cause ?

How is peacefully protesting considered as causing trouble or ever has been? Are you saying that if they protest, you think they will be labelled as "trouble makers" and not taken as the peaceful protesters they would be?

as for supporting coffeeshops, you do that when you make a purchase

another approach would be to prove a positive economical impact, get a rubber stamp and stamp every euro you spend in the Netherlands "I am a tourist and I support coffeeshops". It's easier than painting and carrying a protest sign.

Your right, I would love to make the boat ride. I just think the people that are able should try to fight to keep it like it is! Fight in a non violent manner. I think I am among the lucky, to have been able to experience Amsterdam as it is. I would like to think that people enjoyed my presence, as I enjoyed Amsterdam and did not cause any trouble, while I was there. I would hope that I could visit it again like this, and that many others for years too come, would be able to too. If you lived in Australia, you would experience, what it is like not to protest or to not cause trouble. They take more rights from us everyday.

That is quite possibly one of the best ideas yet.

I dont think people should jump to conclusions that the protest isn't being done properly as well, atm all we're hearing is he said she said.
