I've asked Nol some specific questions regarding protesting in Holland.

As I say as far as I know and as far as has been announced its just an ad hoc get together , would be good to know for definite if the City of Amsterdam have been informed , just so they get the infrastructure in place . As thousands of people converging WILL be seen as a nuisance if not I would imagine ?

It remains to be seen how a protest made up of hundreds of tourists protesting for the right to take 'drugs' in their country will be taken by the local Nederlander's. I'm sure it will get in the press though, so, as they say - any publicity is good publicity!

Why is there not 100% backing by the coffeeshops rather than 1 Shop ?

I was pretty much up for fighting this protests side but the reply I got from Peter Lunk is:

Why would we need permission for flash mobs ?

Flash mobs are very differant to peaceful protests, so with that I'm stepping away from the discussion.

Thanks for posting that Boner as I say Amsterdams Mayor is 100% behind keeping coffeeshops as he said they (tourists) don't cause trouble/nuisance , so hows it gonna look when all these peeps turn up causing a nuisance ?

i think this is a really bad idea, i carnt see how a big mass law breaking is goin to help us in any way,the voc cannabis have a cannabis free day in the westerpark every year (in may i think?) that used to be at the musemplein untill the goverment moved it (funny that),the bond van cannabis is fighting our corner properly

And if the municipality does not want a march/parade or meeting in the middl of amsterdam then we will most probably be appointed a place to hold our protests...
