Dampkring separated!

Post by Nose »

The Dampkring separated!
I've always been a fan of the Dampkring and Tweede Kamer.
Now i've noticed that they have separated.
The menu in haarlemmerstraat Dampkring and Tweede Kamer are the same and are far different from the Dampkring Handboogstraat.
If you ask me the menu in the handboogstraat is much better.
Some things have the same name but are not the same gear.
What do you think?

Dampkring 1 belongs to the former manager now, things are as they always were, good quality.

The other two shops belong to the Boerenjongens chain now, other bud and hash there. Tip: Go to the original Dampkring in the Handboogstraat for the quality you are used to.

That's interesting, I've always avoided dampkring because of my bad experience of dampkring 2,
I may drop in, in April
If carlsburg made weed it would be northern lights 5x

Will be interesting to see if the boerenjongens bring their name and their prices to the Harlemmerstraat. Could annoy the neighbours!

I swear the C5 Pioneer E16 from Dampkring 2 and the SSG13 Haze E12 from Boerenjongens were the same thing, both top of the menu.

I can understand spinning off the Dampkring 2, but Tweede Kamer. It's the first of the chain; the mothership was it were and geographically close to the Dampkring. Are we looking at two sides of a weed pass wager regarding what will happen in 2013? Is someone betting that, at best, only single coffee shops will survive?

It's also the first coffeeshop I hit on every trip as it's close to the hotel and my princess, a.k.a., the wife really likes their space cakes, especially the ones made with weed and not hash. I hope they don't mess with the hot chocolate which is about as good as it gets in Amsterdam. Their closest competition is HGF.

I'll be keeping a close eye on the Tweede Kamer reviews between now and May when we are scheduled to arrive. I can always go just a little bit further to get the space cakes that my wife likes and some of the Rifman hash that I like, but I'll sure miss the Tweede Kamer and the blue bags they pack things in so everybody knows what's in them, including the staff at my hotel  I've actually started packing my own brown paper bags for the journey from America so that there is no finger pointing when I get to the hotel. Better yet, the bud tender gets a laugh out of it and if I'm lucky remembers me from the last time.

the C5 pioneer ain't no C5, it's just a amnesia or super silver.
Boerejongens always claims g13 or other genetics which it's not!
Big difference with the old Dampkring, that's real c5.
Also their A5/Skunk #1 is original.
Don't see why i would go to the other side of the city for fake weed. :?

Sounds to me like boerejongens are looking towards the potential membership crap... whats that 8000 memberships now between dampkring, tweede, bij and bj....

But if foreign customers are banned and a Dutch citizen can only register at one coffeeshop, then aren't you competing against yourself for a much reduced client population? In the new, proposed world, one that I hate, wouldn't you be better off focusing on one shop and trying to maximize its membership?

Do the properties come with the licenses? What's so special about Tweede Kamer if the new rules are applied in 2013?

I reckon boerejongens/bij see well over 2000 customers a week each at the moment so no, not in my opinion...

I'm wondering what other people think about the separation and difference in gear.
What others think about that they carry the same name but not, in my opinion, the same quality.
