I have been familiar with this site for the last five years and will really miss it.
What with the similarly sad shit going down in New Zealand it looks like we are entering a new stage in the development of the internet. No doubt the corporate giants are trying to get the upper hand in suppressing our ability to share and learn from each other. However I am hopeful that the spirit of freedom will always find a way.
I would also like to say that I take heart from many of the good things that ACD continues to acheive. Sure its a different kind of website than BtJunkie, but it is still about ordinary folk with freedom in their hearts sharing knowledge and helping each other.
