Love Rick Steves been using his travel books for years. I knew when I read his section on coffeeshops in his Amsterdsam book that he was a toker.

I hadn't realized, until I bought his Amsterdam guide a few years back, that he was a stoner. I have seen a video of him in Grey Area and I was watching one of him in northern Spain recently, and he popped into a grow shop 8)

He sounds like the sort of guy that is needed for the cause. Your average conservative will notice what he says a lot more than some pierced/dreadlocked activist.... However.... What is his argument about 'europe' has the right idea... 'europe' this and that. Britains weed laws are worse than parts of the states, as are many other european countries. Portugal is a one off sadly.

Tend to agree with you,but I suppose it is just a 4 min clip, when he talks about Europe he is probably talking about Holland ,Spain Portugal,Italy, Switzerland and Denmark, and does'nt have enough time to elaborate on their different approaches but hopefully the message that gets across is to take the crime out of cannabis use.
if you cant eat it drink it smoke it or snort it then feck it it mad sweeney
