Trip 13 for me. Had a bit of the new year blues so got myself of to dam with two mates.
Not using tinypic as they pissed me off on my last report deleting and swapping my pics. So no more huge pics!

Day 1



Got to Frozen Amsterdam Central at 10am, grabbed some tram passes and headed for:

Voyagers -
1g Kaligria E13 – Not quite as fresh as last time but still very nice. Smells like over ripe fruit 7.5/10


2g Blue Cheese E11- Cheesey taste but kinda harsh, like last time. 6.5/10

1.5g Kosher Kush E15per g - Yum yum yum, great taste. Not as strong as I'd hoped. 8/10



Hop on the 1 to Hotel Abba to drop off our bags. Back on the same tram to Central to the Wormerstraat Burger Bar for a Philli Steak.

Yummy

Stones Bar For Man U vs Liverpool – HELL! Drunk English racists, horrible music, no commentary and flashing lights killed my high. I was counting the seconds down till the first half ended.

Green Place – Really busy. I forgot how busy weekends got. Same Asian dealer, good service.
2g Pine Apple Haze E13 per g – taste was diluted 20x from last trip. 6.5/10 - no pic (looked like last trip, not great- airy buds)
1g OG Kush E14 – my mate really liked this, I took a few tokes and agreed 8/10


Anyday – Downstairs was full so I made a quick purchase and left. Friendly dealer with a cap from last trip.
2g Reserva X E14.50 per g – fudgey goodness. Even in sub zero temperatures this hash still managed to stay fairly soft, a few seconds in a warm palm and bang its so soft. Nice strong high. 9/10




Papilion – They were restocking most items for about 5mins when I arrived so I got a good look at what was coming in. The usually friendly woman was having a bit of an off day but service was still ok.
1g Gerdella E11- Rich earthy smell and taste 8/10


1g Gold Cream E10 – Another nice piece of hasj 7.5/10


1g Amnesia E11 8.5/10 – Great sample of Amnesia, really full on flavour and hazy high. Had a slight sour tinge to the flavour aswell. Loved it.



Club Media – My favourite shop. Friendly service all round, great smokes and good place to chill.

1g POG E9 – Amazing value, good taste. 8/10

1g Hindu Kush E10 – off the menu, they guy said they only get small bits on an irregular basis but try to keep the locals happy by stocking it. 8/10

1g Zooltjes E12 – Harder than the Reserva X but did soften after being in my pocket a while. The sweet pungent flowery taste was to die for. 9/10




Basjoe – The new menu has lots of new items like white choco etc. The pricing is in 2g's, but you can buy 1. Service was good, rubbish commercial music.

1g Sour Diesel E15 – mouthwatering nycd flavour, ruby red grapefruit + fuel. MMMMmm. 9/10 No pic (devoured to quickly)
1g Buddah Cheese E13 – slightly nicer taste than Voyagers but still harsh.7/10

1g Honey Marroc E10 – cant rate as I dont remember

1g Royal hash E15 – was disappointed when it wasn’t the old Basjoe Cream Special, but it was smooth and creamy with a happy buzz. 8/10




Got these crisps from AH, proper good.

So cool you got to see the Keizersrace. My Dutch coworker actually got a slot in the race and said it was great. He said the last time they were able to hold that event was 15 years ago so you were very lucky!

It was a complete coincidence as well. We were on the tram at 10.30ish, it stopped, we saw the crowd so got off and within minutes they were racing.

Same here, I started using Tumblr for bud shots and my next project will be to put older trip photos there too.

Media are doing Motivation not a bad smoke that , will be checking that out if they still have it in April
