Prometheus- the next Alien installment

yea, I think it jas more to do with the Space Jockey race, the elephant looking dude who was dead in the derelict spaceraft on LV426 in Alien.

Off to see it on Monday and treating myself to the full Imax experience. I haven't looked forward to a film this much for ages. Anyone else going or seen it yet?

Yep, was gonna go last night until I had a snooze and that was that. Probably go on Thurs. Better be fookin good Ridley!

Won't say too much except that I saw it this morning and thought it was a pretty good film, definately worth a visit to the Cinema for.

Bifton, I went to see it last night (sun) but didn't post anything in case I put you off going to see it...Personally I thought it sucked monumental amounts of ass in every way.

What like the gaping holes in the plot? The crappy script like when you find out about the relationship between Meredith Vickers and Peter Weyland, Star Wars??? the ending that shouts 'Prometheus 2 coming to a screen near you' lol
ok maybe it was the Imax that made it watchable

Yep, all of the above and then some. Didn't even like the 3D, but the Dutch subtitles don't help there much. Mind you, If they make a part 2 it'll be better than 1, not that it could be much worse but if they do...somebody needs a good fonging!! Such a let down.....Ridley ya tosser!!

I have cracked it, if I pretend that I have never heard of or seen Alien, Prometheus isn't that bad lol

I was salivating like Pavlov's alien to see this. Now, not so much.

Sorry to hear it was a letdown. Kinda hard to believe Ridley would let it out the door if it is that bad. Is it his worst film?

Oh fella, please don't let me put you off. I would most definately go and see it, visually it is really quite impressive and it really has set it up for at least another couple of movies.
Basically I am a bit of a grumpy film nerd (La jette and Man bites dog being a couple of my favourite films) I guess I over hyped it for myself and expected too much.
