I just cant belive the luck i have sometimes..
Its monday night, cooked a nice diner for the wife and I, we ate, somked, just a nice night relaxing. Were getting ready for bed and i have a stomach ache, no biggie pop a few tums and off to bed. About 2:30 i wake up and mu stomach is really hurting, i figure its bad gas or something. The tums didnt work so i go old school and drink a warm glass of water with baking soda. I sit in my chair and wait for it to kick in, now im hurting bad. I guess the pain was so bad that i did not realize thats its almost 5am.
My wife comes out of the bedroom looking for me, only to find me laying down on the couch face down holding my stomach. She askes me if im alright, and get a mumble for an answer. After 20mins going back and forth, she gets me to agree to go to the hosiptal. Now for you that dont know me, i hate going to the doctors!! let only the hosiptal. so i get deressed and were off..
Get to the hosiptal, they get me in a bed. Its now almost 7am, the doc comes in askes the normal questions, blah blah blah. Then he askes for my pain level on a 1-10 scale, at the same time pokein my stomach. He get a very loud and nasty "9" from me.. lol So he says let me get you something for that.. In comes the nurse with a IV, she say we need to get some blood samples and get some fluids in you. I say "ok" and she goes along and does her thing. Right as she finshed up, she say im going to give you something for the pain. I say "thank god" lol.. She says its a "Morphine drip".. 5mins later everything is alllllright...
So the doc comes back in and says i need to have a catscan, and i need to drink some stuff so that everything will show up. So i drink some of the nastest stuff ive ever tasted!!!! Now i have to wait 2 hours for it to get in my system b4 i can go for the scan. About 20 mins b4 my scan i get the worst pain i ever felt, i tell my wife to go get the doc somethings really wrong! They hit me with more morphine and rushed right to the scan. Get out the scan to find out my appendix burst! Doc says your a lucky man that it happend here, and thier preping a OR now for you.
Out of the OR and in my room, the doc comes in as says it was a tough one. My appendix was behind my colan and they had to move my internals around alot, but everything is good. He also says that its going to be a long and painful recovery..
After 3 days in the hosiptal, i get sent home last night. Now im stuck in pain in the house for the next 2-3 weeks!! 
Like the title says "only me".. Only 1% of people have a problem with thier appendix after the age of 25, im 35 WTF??? All in all i guess i was lucky that i was at the hospital when it happend! Now i just have to get by the next 2 weeks or so of house arrest, so you'll prob see me online alot more..
