Tobacco situation in coffee shops
Tobacco situation in coffee shops
Hi, I'm sure this has been covered before but I keep reading contrasting opinions
I'm going next week and I'm keen to avoid bad etiquette Or causing problems
Is it ok to discreetly roll up using baccy or is it best avoided?
I've not been since the smoking ban and have always used a bit if baccy when smoking weed
I know some places have areas for those who smoke tobacco, I just don't want to do the wrong thing and cause offence anywhere
Thanks for any input

Do not leave the pack of smokes on the table, keep it out of sight, and you should be fine.
Re: Tobacco situation in coffee shops
Thanks for that, so it's ok to roll a joint discreetly using baccy but not to leave it out
Does that seem to be the case in most places?

I'd say yes to that, main man at Dampkring said as much on my last visit also.

ya, most don't seem to give a fuck.... just keep the packs and cigs out of sight and you're good to go.

When i went, it didnt seem to be a problem in anywhere we went. Its more of a 'If we dont see it, we dont care' type of attitude.
Have fun man..

They couldnt't care less.
Re: Tobacco situation in coffee shops
In my experience it really is the "if we don't see it, we don't care" deal. However, there are exceptions. I wouldn't want to roll with tobacco in the upstairs part of of Dolphins, for example. They really seem to care. Plus, the couches downstairs are much more comfortable
But is most other coffeeshops I've never had a problem. I do make sure to keep the pack out of sight and I don't leave leftover cigarette filters in the ashtray and crumple up (or burn) the cigarette paper. Just don't make it obvious that you're handling tobacco and you should be fine in most places.
