Thought id let everyone know that Megabus are now doing busses from London and Milton Keynes to Amsterdam drops you off at Zeeburg P&R coach park at Zuiderzeeweg. Takes roughly 12 hours and if you book it early enough will only cost £1

Well, with the way cheap flights are going and no longer that cheap after taxes & charges etc I thought it only a matter of time before the coach firms started doing these cheap coach trips again after stopping them several years ago.

My first trip to Dam was via coach all those years ago. 19 fuckin hours from Chester to Amsterdam. Was a nightmare at the time and swore I'd never do it again. But if there was a major cost factor involved say if going in a weeks time and the cheapest flight being £120 or a coach for £50 I'd probably opt for the coach if on a budget!.

Saying that, 12 hours from the south is probably not to bad if the price is right when you factor in the queing and waiting times at airports extra luggage charges and stupid 100ml liquid restrictions etc.

It says it only takes 6 hours from london. I have just literally been on a coach for 22 hours and if you sleep its not to bad. Also if a tickets 4 quid return its not bad. Reckon ill do it tbh.

Getting coach home next month to save a bit of cash. Costs only 4 quid. Does anybody know the best way to get from the center to the pick up point for the coaches.
