Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

Hi all, have just joined and am looking for some specific advice from all you knowledgable people. Have been reading the forum and found it quite helpful.

I have been to amsterdam a good few times before and its been about 3 years since last there and I know things do change a little. ie the smoking ban etc.

There are 5 lads going to this friday. We arent all prolific smokers however do like to have the odd joint. I am also crap at rolling as I get my lass to do it lol

What I am after is some advice on what to smoke when there. Dont want to be too wasted. just want something nice and easy and happy. any suggestions?

We are staying at hotel 82 and dont really want to go too far out of the town centre area so if you can recommend some good places with the above weed suggestions as well as a chilled out relaxing music environment to smoke it would be great.

Also maybe going for a few beers at night to so if you have any suggestions that would be great. Last time we went there was a match on and the police were kicking the crap out the Ajax fans in Dam square so any other suggestions would be great.

If you just want the odd joint without having to worry too much about rolling,near enough in every coffeeshop you can buy a pre rolled joint, Nes, Susies Saloon or Stones cafe I would imagine to be best places where you can relax and have a beer and a smoke,Kashmir Lounge and the Walkabout near leidesplein also allows smoking and the consumption of beer there is also a Bulldog and Sportsbar beside it in the Leidesplein that allows beer and weed,quite a few places if they have seating on their outside terraces will also allow you to smoke and chill outside,

IMO it's always best to tell the budtender what you are after. If they are any good they'll be able to give you recommendations. Not to mention some will roll a joint for you, which always best. That way you know for sure what is inside. There is also the pre-rolled cones that you just have to fill. Available at just about every tourist shop around town.

Probably ask for sativa or hash joints,most bud tenders will help you out if you ask for a happy buzz,for places to go to I would suggest checking out either coffeeshop reviews or some of the travelogues on this forum,there is even a poll showing of the forum members favourite places.

and beware of the alcohol/cannabis mix... the combination is the fastest way to get a whitey imo
