for those who might be curious what the current medical scene in California is like, here's the online menu for a Santa Cruz based dispensary, "Granny Purps".

Not a card holder or a member, but I've gotten some sample product from here and it's always been amazing:

Thanks...
Using the current exchange rate of 1E = $1.30, the top shelf gear goes for less than 14 Euro a gram, not great but not bad either.
The selection of oil looks impressive, but I don't think USBL will be much impressed with their purity.

Thanks again...
Happy trails...

I like the way that is set up and I hope we can have a global system where it is like this. Not just medical either but regulated properly so you DO have tested bud. You can be much more informed and make sure of quality. If you were say, looking for high CBD strain in Amsterdam for example then its pot luck (pun intended). This level of testing and quality control is fantastic. Keeping it safe, they have moisture, fungus and pesticide levels as well! The global industry needs to go PRO. Let good people have a crack at making a life off it and doing it safely while letting humans enjoy what they want to enjoy.

This place looks like the sort of place I hope to be able to run in my own country in the not to distant future. But to sell to everyone who wants it not just medical. The menu is impressive as hell. And the extract and edible section are extensive. When I see the prices though they must be killing it. I am jealous as hell that you guys have access to that sort of medical stuff though. I know for sure with my medical history I would have a medical card if I lived in there. I can only hope the rest of the world decides to go legal.

Its good that they tell you all the numbers. Have never seen anyone tell you the moisture level.

Its not too bad in my eyes for prices if you buy an 1/8th for $55 (£10 per gram with exchange rates). Doesnt really get cheaper for an oz at $440 (£9.90 per gram). Id be buying variety there, not stockpiling on one type.

How comes Jack Herer is so expensive anyway? I had it a few times years ago and didnt think it was anything amazing.

The "testing" they are using to get those numbers leaves much to be desired. There are no standards in place. I read where the same weed was sent to different testing companies and every single company gave a completely different result. Take all that with a grain of salt.

I could open a "testing facility"... there is no regulation...

Nice selection I am impressed. they have a very nice selection available, prices a lil steep though. All stoner paranoia aside, The selection beats 99% of AMS shops.

The odd thing is high grade back in 2002 was $400/oz back then, and10 years later the price hasn't changed, yet every thing else has doubled in price or more!

I would say the people printing the money, and those facilitating the transfer of wealth at the global level are the greedy ones, not those who produce something great in return for monetary compensation. A grower is like a farmer. Some care if their sweet corn is sweet and tasty, and some care if it will feed the cows so they can get milk or meat. The choice of if you want super sweet corn, or a T-Bone is up to you!
