No way, that's the trip report section here so I want to read some stuffs about weed, hash, food, sex, museum, music, culture, hotels, .... well about life in general, and what's more important than sex in life?

Oooo, tetchy  , sounds like someone's needing to go out there for some fun. So, before this descends into the gutter - that my smokey friends is all the info you're gonna get on that subject, feel free to imagine whatever kind of title or ending to the nights you like 8)

Can't remember the Jungle from Paradox at all, so can't have been that great.

So, I'm sitting in a cafe in the UK, oh how I miss the Dam, caught a glimpse of smoke out of corner of eye, turn around and it's just the damn steam from the dishwasher - no person bellowing out lungfuls of bong smoke as I was hoping, lol.

Damn! what a waste of time and energy for a simple question!! Why making such a fuss? we're only speaking about dick and vagina here, is it this bad?

Sorry, in France speaking of sex is not a big deal, in fact with the economic crisis having sex is the only thing remaining that is taxfree, ecological, free and fun. People have this activity on a daily basis ;I just learned that in England it's not the case, sorry for this cultural shock.

... So, get booked into the Hotel, can't really call the Slotania a Hostel, there's no nice space to chill really, just a couple of computers and sofas to use on 1st floor. Essentially a "dorm" is a room that they've put a couple of bunkbeds in. But, the rooms are clean, after all, I'm just going to sleep here, getting a tram into centre in the morning and not coming back till late.

After booking in, head straight out to the de Watersnip, the ony close coffeeshop. Wow they have a menu now, lat time I popped in there a couple of years ago he had skunk and hash - and neither had a name.

Didn't manage to take snaps of any menus, sorry, don't remember what weed they had as didn't get any, but they did have 4 kinds of hash - Hiya Eur9/gr, Tbliza Eur8/gr, something else, and also 5g polm for Eur25 I think.

So, grabbed some of the Tbliza as hadn't tried that yet and headed staight out into the centre.

Most of this time is now getting a bit hazy as had sort of stopped making notes by now, far too wasted and just enjoying myself. More wandering, coffeeshops, sure I popped into T'Nes and bumped into gapie and corsicanbro again for a few spliffs, gapie mentioned something about a meetup at Voyagers the next day (Saturday?).

Saturday morning, missed breakfast, what a suprise, lol, so go down to the cafe over the road by the canal/harbour, stopping to make a small spliff of the Tbliza, and smoke it fairly quickly, mmm tasty, head into the cafe feeling a bit light headed, only just got up and haven't even had a drink of water let alone anything to eat yet, think a strong black coffee is in order, grab it, and sit down, quickly... oooo that spliff had really hit me, just had to rest hy head in my hands for a couple of minutes while a slight white feeling passes, man that must be some good shit, but probably more likely to the lack of any food/drink, lol. 5 min later and everything's fine again, finish the coffee and again head stright into the centre.

I somehow ended up remembering gapie mentioning the meetup, so headed there and met up with gapie, colino and friends at Voyagers, went on a bit of a C/S run, really can't remember where we went although think maybe Grey Area/Utopia/Prix D'ami ending up at "Lost in Amsterdam" for a few spliifs/drinks. First time I've been in there, was nice (but quite expensive from what I remember), after sitting around a tble for a bit the back room cleared up leaving space for us to move to more comfortable space. Colino got a bit too comfortable, and had to be given a bit of a wake up as they were all heading back to get their coach I think. Good to see you all had another good smoke up

I head off to a few more coffeeshops, then time to head for the tram and back to the hotel...

Im reading more good things about the power of tbliza, i think i need to check it out. I usually only buy one hash per trip and its usually nepalese, but this tbliza sounds like it needs to be tried.

Enjoying this report stillsmoking, a really good week by the sounds of things.

This is quite possibly the greatest thread I have ever read on this board!!!

Maybe we need a special section here, an "after dark" or a RLD typed theme for the creepy middle aged and older folks that frequent the board? Do not count on me since I only do churches and museums when i am in town...

I think the Twizla/Tbliza were fairly similar, nice smokes both of them and they made for some of the best weed/hash cocktails I had, so will be getting some more myself next time also. There's just so many nice hashes to choose from, didn't manage to get around to getting any Temple Ball this time, but the Trans Himalayan was the closest I suppose, really nice trippy high, but also strong comfortable stoned.

Glad you all enjoying reading it, I'm enjoying writing it, I agree with the others, this is ACD, not AXXXD, just kindly point them the door on the way out, I'm here for my smokes

... Get back to the room, and telly's blaring out, could be a bad sign, there's only one person in there that seems asleep in their bunk who obviously crashed out with it turned on, cool, no roomful of idiots, whew. It's not too late, fancied a bit of an early one so it's only just gone midnight, still could do with another spliff before bed though, the bloke in the other bunk wakes up and start chatting, seems like a good guy, from Mexico. As sadly can't smoke in the rooms here, decide to head off and see if that coffeeshop close by is still open, so build a spliff, Mexican guy has bottle of Tequila, so we have a shot and go for a stroll over to the shop. It's closed, oh well, get back and crash pretty much straight away.

Sunday - actually managed to get up for breakfast - woohoo - it's time to head back into the centre and back to the party hostel. Check out of Slotania, and before I go, walk up to the CS de Watersnip - have a bit of a chat with the Budtender and say that the last time I came here that he didn't have the menu before and that I grabbed some really nice hash, so he points out that that was the "Hiya". I'm definitely getting more of this stuff, he pulls out a nice pressed slab of it from a large baggie and I grab 2g - (18Eur) although I wish I got more. Exactly the same as I remember it from before, a very natural plant taste, with a really strong kick, serious heavy stoned redeye with cheshire cat grin time :) I've got to find something this good in the centre, otherwise next time I'm really tempted to pop out to get some more of this.

Check back in to the Flying Pig, have a smoke and a chat with few of the staff there, it's one of their birthdays today, so they're gonna be partying till late, DJ's going to be here also, sounds good, time to get out and stock up with some goodies, cue more walking, coffeeshops, back to the hostel in the evening for music and party. Real great laugh, some friends of the staff had popped over for the party also, the place was packed, everyone enjoying themselves a drinkin an a smokin. Ended up chatting to a few of the staff who were becoming friends and smoking buddies by now and a couple of Budtender friends of theirs, a few very interesting conversations about keeping up with the ever changing rules, weedpass etc, and before I know it it's like 4 or 5am and we all had virtually ran out of smoke   so time to call it a night, float up to bed and sleeeeeeep :D ...

... Monday morning, over to 420 for spliff or few and morning coffee, could do with a nice refreshing drink, so remember someone mentioned the Limonana drink @ Amnesia, never tried that before and sounded like exactly what was needed - that hit the spot, freshly made, with mint, lime, ice, sugar, onto more coffeeshops, Green Place, Greenhouse Effect - where had a bit of a chat to Simon while rolling spliff or two. Then back to the hostel to chill a bit, have a smoke with a few people there, stopping by 420 for small spliff and get some more 420 haze. Back out to a few more before heading back to the hostel for the night smoking away with the friendly people and staff.

Tuesday appears and it's my last full day in the Dam, after the miles of walking around every day, I'm just going to head to my favourite places to get some of my last smokes, soak up a little sun before heading back to the Hostel and smoke what I'd got: Quasar - trippy weed from Amnesia, then over to the Grey Area for some Chocolope and Chiesel.

Before I know it, it's Wednesday, say goodbyes to the staff I'd made friends with at the Hostel and a few of the other people who I've been smoking with, give my last ACD map out as I won't be needing that any more as I'm just going to spend the last hour in 420 finish off last few spliffs, roll a small one and a hashcake for the Airport and set off to Central Station. Didn't have to wander to far away from the airport terminal, the smoking area just outside with the large concrete plant pots, not too many people, so just finish the last small spliff there. Then time to finish off my final Hashcake with a coffee watching the planes take off.

And that's the end of 11 days in Amsterdam, so many great memories from this one, cheers to everyone that I met out there, had some great times.

Great report, StillSmokin'. I am glad you brought the subject of the thread back from the lurid, tawdry 'naughty bits' chatter . I am seriously compiling notes on strains and coffeeshops to try if/when I can get back to the 'dam before the whip comes down.... Your report is much appreciated and enjoyed.

Cheers!!

Been loving everyone else's trip reports for the same reason, good to just get into the vibe and heads up of a few tasty ones close to the time eh, so thanks (and more trip reports) always appreciated

@ woodz60 - only just eh, only just! I too hope to get out there before the dreaded pass, but from what I did hear from several people out there is that there's still a long way to go yet ;) but still at the very least want to get out there again this year myself just in case.

@ Cisco - yeah, I agree, had a look at the pic you posted in your "Fudge Diaries", looks similar, but stuff I had was also darker, fresher and more oily looking.

@ geekymonkey - mmm yes, that Gardela was on my to smoke list, but never got around to it, one to look forward to next time though :)
