as im sure ftcarer can confirm that the police have been asking for peoples id during coffeeshop controle,regardless of age

Since that date, anyone aged 14 and over must be able to produce an original valid identity document and carry it with them at all times. Failure to produce an original, valid identity document is a criminal offence.

if there is any possability of the police giving us problems because a customer dosent have id,then we will check
this WILL come into force in ALL half decent shops in the near future

ok I re read gapies post. I see. That is such a bummer. I hate carrying my passport around for fear I will lose it. on any of my trips I have never carried my passport into a coffeeshop. Its a bummer things have to change.
