I didn't make big thing of it but think we showed our passports in every shop , every visit a few who recognised me only asked the once but I have always carried mine anyway , I was told that was law for visitors to Holland & I didn't want to be held up on my crawls
Most recent trip if I remember rightly after we walked back so T could get his from his room , Anyday asked us as soon as we were inside

ok I re read gapies post. I see. That is such a bummer. I hate carrying my passport around for fear I will lose it. on any of my trips I have never carried my passport into a coffeeshop. Its a bummer things have to change.

as im sure ftcarer can confirm that the police have been asking for peoples id during coffeeshop controle,regardless of age
the law states
On 1 January 2005, the Compulsory Identification (Extended Scope) Act came into force. Since that date, anyone aged 14 and over must be able to produce an original valid identity document and carry it with them at all times. Failure to produce an original, valid identity document is a criminal offence.

if there is any possability of the police giving us problems because a customer dosent have id,then we will check
this WILL come into force in ALL half decent shops in the near future

Thank you for that heads up on the Compulsory Identification Act, I like others, have always carried a photo copy of my passport for ID after checking into the hotel and locking my originals up in the safe

Loads at Voyagers earlier but no boat. New arrivals include Smirks, Tranquilised, Occasional Bowl. Everyone else too but captain doesn't want to sail.

Went on alternative ferry voyage to Noord with plans on Ooievaartje. Got in there and started to settle but then suddenly on trek to Filiaal. Treked back to the other ferry and into Wonder Bar. J, Occasional Bowl and me carried on to Siberie and 1e Hulp before back to Basjoe.

Basjoe really busy. Everyone from earlier plus Matty223, Drugsbunny and Gromit.

Got a pile of voting forms that I've got to deleiver to Nes apparently so guess we'll be there later again then.
