Passengers on flight 420 to Amsterdam, proceed to gate G13
Re: Passengers on flight 420 to Amsterdam, proceed to gate G
Thanks guys, time to recap the rest of day 1.
What to eat. Love Vietnamese and have been told about a new one worth trying, but I'm in Holland, so I should go for Dutch instead. I do. Head to Haes Claes, which has a queue and when I join it I sense the middle aged bible tourists in front of me are a little less than happy with the liberal dose of 'eau de coffeeshop' that I've applied to myself. Instead I head to the adjacent pub, which if memory served me, also makes use of Haes Claes's menu. Pea and ham soup followed by Stampot, or however its spelled. Simply yum. Washed down withba glass of de Konninck.
Still don't have a bong. Stomp back up to 420 but it's 10.30pm now and the head shops are closed. It can only mean one thing. It's time to head to t'Nes.

Nes was busy and bustling. I'm sure loads of ACDers were there but I've only met a few so can't place everyone. Get a beer and a bong and start mopping up some of my earlier purchases. Get talking to the Ukele people, told me their ACD names but by the end of the night I was too baked to remember. It'd been a long day that started at 5am in London. I briefly catch up with Gapie, roll one for the walk home and head off. By 1am I'm tucked up and falling asleep.
Day 2. Shower time then Voyagers...

Looks like your off to a good start, minus the sink incident. Now that you got the bad at of the way,it's all down hill from here.

Day 2. Where to start. Chronologically would seem like a good idea, but this is going to be a memory test. First stop Voyagers, via tram. As I walk in, I see Gapie with a big fat spliff and immediately I'm passed it for a big fat toke. It's Voyager's shake. Spliffs are ok, but bongissue more my thing so after relieving HB of a g of Kaligria, I start firing it up.
This is I guess my first proper ACD meet, as I wasn't a member last November. Quite a lot of members were here and over the next couple of hours I was variously introduced to Arsonist, Uncle Ron, Colina, Trad, Hestia, Yogi, bleak, matty223, Lemming, Occasional bowl, DrugsBunny, Tranquilised, Gromit and assorted friends and family members, notably from Trad's crew.
One important person was however missing...the boatman. Gapie informed us weather was too bad, unlikely we would get a trip. An hour or so later this was confirmed, but we had gathered for an adventure and an adventure damn well would be had.... or we'll get stoned trying.

Ferry to Noord ended up being the replacement and we went in search of a couple of coffeeshops. Neither really appealed though and one was in fact now a members only establishment. Nevertheless, the walk did us all good and it was an opportunity to chat and get to know some of the folks a little better.
We returned to central and the indecision that had plagued the ill fated trip carried on a little when thoughts turned to food. Not fancying the group choice I split to find my own. After munch I stopped by Abraxas, no buy just a bit if a chill with a joint I'd rolled earlier, before heading to Basjoe.
Basjoe is about 2/3 full when I arrive. Every occupant, to a stoner, is an ACDers. 1g of AK47, no real reason why, just felt an urge to buy something. Ah yes I've remembered the reason for purchase, stash running low...
During this meet I was honoured to try some of Uncle Ron's homemade budder. Had a generous dollop of it added to a bong of Utopia's Edelweiss/Anyday's Hiya. Sure turbo charged that hit.
After Basjoe I stopped by Dampkring for a g of Sour Diesel and one of green crack as well. Hit the bong hard for the next hour or so.
By this time it was 10pm, time to head to Nes. The crew were pretty much all there. Shared some more bongs with Arsonist, sank a beer or two, shot the breeze with various people for a while then headed home to hit the sack. Back at the attic and I find a mystery bag of weed in my pocket. I don't usually store in bags when in Dam, I use the acrylic towers as per my avatar, so what the flip is this? Then I remembered. During the stomp around Noord, we actually threatened to go into one of the places. I got as far as buying some Amnesia but then we all left. Maybe just due to being in my pocket all day, but it does not seem very nice.
So, now it's 9.30 on day 3 and 420 is upon us. It's likely to be very messy again. Gonna have shower and head for Hugo de Groot/Erste Hulp.

Day 3, 4/20 complete.
Your mission, should you accept to choose it, is to go forth and boldly seek out strains you have not yet tried on this trip; and to consume them with a view to getting wasted.
Mission accomplished, well sort of, not sure strain testing was really a practical part of a 4/20 day, but I sure did get wasted.
Before meeting up with the gang at Damprkring, I did a mini trip to Hugo de Groot and Eerste Hulp. 2 g of Lemon Haze, which with their special 420 day discount, came to 16.5 Euro. Bargain. On to Eerste Hulp, quick in out and a look at the BHO. Will return Sunday for some of that. Bought some Edelweiss, I'm liking this old school strain this trip. Not as good as Utopia's though, but cheap.
Brisk walk to Dampkring. Gang already assembled. Smoking ensued.

Re: Passengers on flight 420 to Amsterdam, proceed to gate G
Have landed back in Gatwick and on train home. So to pick up where I left off, I arrive in Dampkring and the crew have occupied the front part of the shop. The only non ACDer in this area was the shop cat, permanently stoned and basking in the sunshine through the window.
Ron, Marty, Arsonist, DrugsBunny, Trad, Keychains, Gromit, Gapie, Blueberry, Colina, Omnibuzz and a few others were there. An hour or so Lemming arrives and we head off to wave at the webcam. As we're waving the heavens open up and a downpour starts. By this time the group breaks into smaller units and I end up with the bong brigade, full pull officer Gapie at the helm leading us through the rain to the haven that is Utopia; and the promise of free coffees all round. So the next hour or so drying off, hitting the Roor. Bought some Grand Cru hash. Yum.
By 3.45 a few others have turned up, including FlybyNite. It all gets a bit stoner indecisive at this point. Where to do 420?
