We are not going until August, but I need to know where in Amsterdam will we find the best Calzone, thanks in advance for any help. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Best place to go for a calzone ? Certainly not Amsterdam , try the place called Italy :wink: :lol:

Renato, next to Papillon in the Pijp. But you have to make a reservation. People say it's the best pizza in town. They open at 18:00.

I love the Pijp for the food btw. Loetje, Renato, Burgermeester, Alber Cuyp Market (waffels and frites), The Tacco Shop...

Sorry for the late review, but we ended up trying the Calzone from Peppino's its on the same street as Rookies, and the only way I could describe their Calzone is that its simply divine, so authentic, we were made to feel so welcome, we fell in love with this place and are definitely going back on our next visit in May 2014. http://www.ristorantepeppino.nl.
