Recruiting for a paid Research Intern
We are seeking an intern for a four-month period starting immediately. The intern will work primarily on our research project looking at how we make drug policy in the UK (ie ‘governance’) but may be asked to assist with other UKDPC work if appropriate.
The ‘Governance’ project is exploring how decisions about drugs might be made in a less charged atmosphere and is using a mixed method approach, involving documentary analysis, interviews and round tables/seminars with senior government officials, ministers and parliamentarians, to investigate the way in which drug policy is made in the UK with a view to identifying areas for improvement. It will draw lessons from policy-making structures and processes for drugs in other countries and from other policy areas in the UK to make recommendations for change
