Any news on how tight the new tourist ban is in Zeeland?
Am going to Breskens in Zeeland on 28th May and was wondering if anybody has been since the tourist ban started. Cant believe such a racist act is allowed in modern day Europe!!!

I can tell you that you will not get served in Miami in Terneuzen or in High life in Goes. I would be surprised if any other Coffeeshops would put their business at risk either.

Not just a ban on tourists.. a ban on anyone without a weedpass.
Noord-Brabant councils all voted against the weedpass in July 2011

How in the world can you equate banning tourists with racism? Are tourists a race now?stevechristie1953 wrote:Am going to Breskens in Zeeland on 28th May and was wondering if anybody has been since the tourist ban started. Cant believe such a racist act is allowed in modern day Europe!!!

Perhaps not racist, but certainly discriminatory towards those who decide to partake in the arguably less harmful act of smoking a joint or two as opposed to drinking alcohol which doesn't get logged anywhere.
In addition, who knows what those databases are going to be used for and where the data will ultimately end up. While those heavily involved in the legalization movement may be eager to publicly embrace this aspect of their life, those whose careers and livelihoods depend on maintaining a low profile on this aspect of their private life certainly have a cause for concern as their employers may not share the same views.
Preaching to the choir, I know, but on a lighter note - I did have a manager while working at IBM's offices in Germany who had pictures of flowering cannabis plants pinned all around his office. Never got around to asking whether those were his babies or simply stock photos, but I always assumed the latter
