Not heard of it, but the location's spot on. Handy for vondelpark, leidesplein and trams to just about anywhere. Should suit you fine for a first trip.

thankyou,we are going for my fellas birthday,as he wants the smoking experience before the ban comes in,we are also trying to look up trams and transport so we can get in and out of the Dam Square easy.

was here last week, decent standard 3 star hotel, clean if a little boring and they make it very clear that the rooms are non smoking

we are coming to visit on the 9th of august we land @ 6.30 am then fly back on the 11th of august.

there is a great deal now on hotwire 5* hotel for 159 usd a night, looks likeit could be the
