All is Well That Ends Well!!

mah doggy friend went missing on Thursday morning... after all day walking & networking, come night time I was sore as fuck (I've a crippled leg), not to mention heartbroken...

Friday morning, little sleep, start again: printed 60+ posters and went around town putting them up - many thanks to t'other half who helped wid logistics and drove me around (thanks babe: w/out you I would have certainly driven into a wall, or worse )

after enduring a false alarm (thanks too to that caller anyway) come night time I was again sore & heartbroken, when the phone rang once more: "hi, I think I have your dog here with us." A meeting was arranged and - WIN!!! - it was her for sure, she had wandered into housing estates couple of miles upwind... Many thanks to that man & his missus!

happy as a pig in shit, I was so wired I still couldnt sleep properly: Saturday I was ecstatic but still bollox'd... only now I can say I've rested properly and settling back into me normal life

Moral of the story: Dont give up on yer friends, be they of the 2 - or more - legged variety + I better get me fone no. punched onto her collar...

... and I went thru this without a single smoke, as there's a feckin drought in this house...

... but mah furry friend is back, and this is all that matters at the mo!
