Canadian Strains in Amsterdam

Post by Grunt »

Few years back i had the delightful experience of some BC Bud

Strains like Mr Nice Guy, Hempstar and Jamaican Sugar were of the best strains i have ever smoked. The gooey Jamaican Gum was mind blowing hash never ever experienced again, despite many attempts to find similar

Query is has anyone came across BC strains in Amstersdam?

Over and indeed trout

BC ganja is amazing, iv got three non Canadian strains at the moment but all grown in BC and they are without doubt some of the best I have had. Trying to up my tolerance before my trip in 17 days time by smoking Laughing Buddha and OG Kush cocktails.

In 2010 Chapiteau carried Godbud, a strain that's supposed to come from BC:

I'd be really interested too if you can find some BC buds, i recall smoking some some years ago and it was the strongest weed ever (and i've been trying a lot of the strongest though ...)

Theres better stuff in Amsterdam than simple BC Bud... I find the term "BC Bud" to be misleading, as anything grown in BC would technically be called BC Bud.

Best BC weed ever smoked was purple kush from Nelson, BC. right climate for growing outdoors. amazing pk in BC

I hear ya mate, the Purple Kush was awesome

The Mr Nice Guy was the tastiest, strongest mind fuck ever recorded with weed and likewise for hash it was Jamaican Sugar.

For overall knock you out for a good few hours is the mighty Budder, hard as fuck to knife but the results were LSD like to a certain extent.

The closest i have found in the Dam is Bubblegum, cant remember where from but that one sticks in my mind for sure

Actually, NO.

The so-called "BC Bud" of renoun is grown indoors. The BC climate has nothing to do with it.

The summer weather on the prairies is as hot (or in fact hotter) than southern BC interior, BC lower mainland, and southern Vancouver Island. You have as long (or longer) a growing season in Southern Ontario. (Indeed, for example, Point Pelee is as far south in lattitude as Northern California.)

Yes, in the broadest sense "BC Bud" is any bud grown in BC, BUT, the renouned stuff is grown indoors. So, you could get just as good bud grown anywhere indoors.

The "BC Bud" name is mostly for marketing purposes.

Don't get me wrong. You could get some good outdoor bud grown in BC. However, you could also get some great outdoor bud grown in Manitoba, Ontario, Illinois, The UK, Holland, and so on.

I have lived in BC for over 25 years. I still get a kick out of how the locals seem to think the climate has something to do with the bud.

Purple Kush does seem to be a popular commercial strain, here, in Vancouver. Every time some dude is smoking a joint whilst walking down the street (in the broad daylight), I ask them what they are smoking. Invariably, the answer is "purple kush".
