Greetings from Canada

Post by drtangus »

Hello everyone,

I came across this awesome site a few years ago. I had a 7 hour layover in Amsterdam and decided to do a little research to see what I can manage to do within my limited time. I made a plan of which shops I wanted to visit and was ready to go!

Being a long time smoker I had always dreamed of visiting this fabled city. So, when I stepped out of the train station I was very much in awe. Like a kid in a candy store... A giant, glorious, candy store... As soon as I walked out of my first coffee shop, my "plan" went to the shitter.. I basically spent the next 4 hours bouncing from shop to shop giggling like a little school girl.
This was my first and only time in Amsterdam..

Now, in August, I coincidentally  , have another layover and could use some recommendations from all you Amsterdam veterans out there. I vow, that this time,my planning won't be in vain...

Hello and welcome.
Making plans in Amsterdam and making vows too eh!  you've already had a taster of how it goes, usually after your first few calls to the C/S's you can forget it and best just letting matters take their own course.
Plan a couple of clear headed first calls to select and load up on your herbs and then cut loose.
Have a good 'un,

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

Enjoy
