Cali Question

I've washed ashore on California's central coast and will back to posting soon (because I totally owe ya'll a bunch of stories from my April trip.)

In the meanwhile, it will be a few weeks before I have my residency status sorted out, so that sweet sweet california medical marijuana is just beyond my grasp right now.

Anyone have any helpful suggestions for the meanwhile? Feel free to pm me.

Geeky have you got two passports? US and European? Or job enable you to move both places. Seems very difficult for us europeans to move to the US. Probably vica verca.

No luck yet (although I've been too busy finding a place to really *try*).

Mike, we went over to Europe on a work visa and are coming "home" now, although this is the first time in my wild gypsy life that "home" is on the west coast

dcon- working on it, but I arrived literally days ago and had to find a place to live and something to sleep on so I've been busy busy.

big- I've missed this place too, glad my life will have time for it again soon.

If you're near San Luis Obispo its state college is known to be packed with stoners. The SLO downtown is nice, and has a few places to hang out- maybe meet someone and share your story with someone who seems simpatico? I'm sure they'd love to help someone out who just got there.

If you're near Santa Barbara, I'd imagine they would have a dispensary or two- maybe hang out around the outside and ask someone... ? A friend of mine in Seattle did this at a dispensary near the university and ended up establishing a steady supply relationship with the guy. Until my buddy got his own card.

(edit: If you're north of big sur, the monterey/carmel area, maybe the santa barbara approach?)

If you're near Solvang, you can see if anyone's selling Danish Gold in their version of Christiania (I keed, I keed).

Congrats on your move to Cali and becoming "legal"!

I have friends on the west coast, and when I've visited I've come away impressed by the samples I've smoked from the dispensaries. Like anything else, there's good and bad... but when you find the good...

There is better smoke to be had in California than Amsterdam... Never as good as growing it yourself though!
