Wife's 40th birthday trip 7-10 Oct

Heading out 7-10 Oct for my wife's 40th birthday. 1st time with my wife and really looking forward to it. Staying south in de pijp. So peeps any of yourselves travelled with the other half ? She doesn't smoke but has no problem with me smoking and often joins myself and friends as we toke. We will be stopping off at coffeeshops but obviously i won't be going as mad as i do when with my mates. Im just after info for a decent romantic place to eat and some romantic spots and brown cafes to visit to balance the trip out abit.
