I've used them in the past for a couple of tandems. Good place, reasonable prices. Nice quiet road out front to practice on, if you need to. They also do a a nice line in adapted bikes for disabled riders

Try Frederick Bike. They also do rooms, apartments, and houseboats.

I am a new in this big country so if someone have information about the renal bikes shop and like to share their informative knowledge with me so then buddy you perform it quickly because I really need it.
Fella - please stop posting all this rubbish. In one post you say you wish to visit Amsterdam, in another you start talking about some random stuff you claimed to have done IN Amsterdam like bike rentals, and coffeeshops you've visited...

You've posted in seven Coffeeshop reviews, and my head is starting to hurt deciphering your nonsense.

Mods - kindly put this "poster" out of our misery???

It's a spambot. Though admittedly it's hard to tell the difference sometimes here.

Yep - clocked it.

He/she/it didn't add the spam link until after the 12th post...

Still - it would be nice if the mods could gently erase all these posts to try and keep the threads on topic...

<"gently erase" = with a big stick>

Edit: And as if by magic, the stain was gone....

The last few times I have used Discount Bike Rental. All of the deals are listed on the website below.

Their address is:

I rented from Mike's Bikes on Kerkstraat last time I visited A'dam. The bikes are 'undercover,' as in no big placard advertising that they are rented (and that you are a tourist)(like Macbikes,) and are typical Dutch bikes at what seemed a reasonable rate. The first one I rode off with had a broken spoke, which I discovered pretty quickly- the exchanged it right away with no hassles. They also offer tours.

Another option I was offered was to go to the flea market near Waterlooplein and buy a bike fairly cheap. The problem was that it was likely stolen, and had no lock or lights....

You are better off buying a bike from Recycled Bikes or from one of the stalls at Waterlooplein. Renting one for an entire month is cost prohibitive. And simply sell it back to one of thee many bike shops around town.
