I've stayed at Delta Hotel a couple of times. It was renovated from top to bottom a year or so ago. And its near one of my favortie coffeeshops in The Netherlands, Cafe Cremers.

Ibis Den Haag Central is nice hotel. very clean non smoking hotel right in the middle of town. very close to creamers and my favourite coffee and dreams down Westeinde. bargain price for weekend deals like 60-63 euro's and 79 euro's for weekdays. I like to stay weekends as its cheaper than Amsterdam and there a few bar's round the corner.

We stayed at the Hotel Des Indes over Christmas 2008 - gorgeous but too fancy for us really. Cremers - the best! I can't remember what hash we smoked but I laughed during the entire walk back to the hotel. A visit to the beach on New Year's Day was beautiful and very very cold! Everyone was out with their dogs - it was hilarious! A great city to visit with a lot of international appeal. We visited Maastrich for a few days of the New Year 2011 - before the weed pass issue and that was a great town too. Several coffeeshops - one across the street from our hotel - and a very cool 800 year old town gate to walk through. Thankfully there was no wrinkle in time and we got to leave for the rest of our holiday in Amsterdam. It was always extra fun to plan a trip to Amsterdam and add another city to really get the feel for Holland. I hope this weed pass issue goes away so we can always explore that beautiful country!

Back in the late 1990s I stayed at the Park Hotel a few times. I just check the website and it's still there looking good. It's a tad pricey @EUR90, but so is den Haag. It's a serious hotel and you get at least what you paid for. A hot bath after a two-day bicycle tour in a nice bathroom with good plumbing was quite a treat, I recall. I had the best nights sleep in a high quality bed. It was quite a treat.

Last time I was in town, I stayed at Hotel Europa in Scheveningen. It wasn't very expensive(I went before the high season kicked off so I don't know what the prices are like in late July or August), it was clean and each room had a balcony. It's on the beach which is great in the summer. It's also a 5 minute walk from a great coffeeshop, Blue and White, and a single tram ride away from the Hague center.
