If its a single apartment it will be either bling bling or saloon. If u get bling bling, there may be a little surprise in the freezer!!!

Anybody have any idea where the single en-suite rooms are located? Are they spread out? I am looking for something fairly close to the bar. Does this place have a lobby that is open all the time so I could just chill down there and talk to other guests?

as far as i know theres only one en suite room (redlight) and its above the bar / coffeeshop. Ok room. very quiet.

they have added some new rooms so there may be another one now. i think its only the appartments that are spread out though. enjoy!

I stayed in the Saloon room two weeks ago, it seemed safe enough to leave things lying around the room, I think there was a safe in the room, but I never bothered with it. The Saloon room was clean, has a fridge with a tiny freezer section, two rings for cooking on(few pots and cutlery under the sink), small TV, couple of chairs and a wee table. The bathroom was nice and clean and the shower fairly decent. The only thing wrong with the room is its very very noisy, the windows dont keep any noise from the street out, even heavily medicated I was still getting woken up all the time. Theres a bar right across the street that had tunes pumping till three in the morning, take some ear plugs man! The first night I stayed there it was freezing, got up in the morning and was all set to go and complain until I noticed the thermostat on the radiator was turned off!! Turned it on and went for breakfast, when I got back into the room it was like an oven! I would stay here again but would take ear plugs just to be on the safe side!

Ps breakfast was being served from 9-12 not 7-12.

The rooms are just round the corner from the Greenhouse effect bar and coffeeshop, less than a minutes walk. Its a fairly busy area, lots of people about so seems safe enough. Ive never really felt unsafe in Amsterdam, just mind and be sensible and you will be fine! You also get 2 euros off if you spend 20 euros in there coffeeshop. The Black Spice hash was pretty nice! Enloy man!

Thanks for the information, big help and puts me at ease. Got ear plugs and xanax (prescribed), so those 2 together should be able to get me to sleep if i have any issues. Any cool bars or places to eat that are close? Did you have wi-fi in the room? Sorry for all the questions and thanks again

Hi I know this is about appartments, but you guys seem like regular greenhouse customers. I've booked the FLuo room for the 3rd March, I assumed you could smoke weed in their since it was above a coffeeshop and they would be leniant. But on booking.com it clearly states non smoking throughout, so i wondered if this is a formality or if it is true!

Thanks for your help guys
