JJSouthLDN wrote:Hi I know this is about appartments, but you guys seem like regular greenhouse customers. I've booked the FLuo room for the 3rd March, I assumed you could smoke weed in their since it was above a coffeeshop and they would be leniant. But on booking.com it clearly states non smoking throughout, so i wondered if this is a formality or if it is true!

Thanks for your help guys
Its just a formality.

Just checked out of a 2 bed apartment from gh this morning. Got the amsterdam blues already! Check in was quick and easy and my girfriend and I were told that the apartment was a 5 min walk round at Neiwmarket (shown on map). To our surprise  (and delight!) :D it was right on top of hill street at the market coffeeshop on the 1st floor! Steep stairs leading to a decent enough sized open plan apartment with a fridge, sink etc. A table and chairs with ashtray....perfect! The shower tho was pretty small. Clean enough although it needs a lick of paint etc. Fairly noisy at night but perfect for me as plenty bars and coffeeshops nearby (greenplace is excellent!), close to centre without being right in it. All in all happy with what we paid (130 euro pn) as we were looking for a cheap place near the centre where we could go back and smoke s##t loads of bongs before we wandered down the red light with big grins on our faces.

Hope this helps anyone thinking of staying here! :D

Thought I`d throw a few pics of the apartment above the HSB at the Market, should have done this ages ago.

This is the apartment I stayed in on the first floor mentioned on the above post. Thanks for adding the pics Rusty, I was going to upload some but they are on the girlfriends phone. Great place 2 stay location wise. I have bigger cupboards than the shower room tho. I managed to soak the place every time!

Hi I've just joined this Forum, I've stayed with greenhouse about 10-15 times over the last 10 years and can't fault the place. If anyone's got any questions i'll be happy to answer.

IMO these apartments are way to expensive ,, you can find much better deals on vrbo , amsterdamstay and even airbnb
