Post by Raiden91 »

Awrite guys. Im Campbell, im 20 and i stay just outside glasgow. Been smoking daily for about 9 months now, but i still feel so uneducated!

Heading to Amsterdam on the 12th for my 21st birthday so hoping to pick up a wee bit of knowledge along the way! Found the forum through google whilst looking for coffee shops to visit, so hopefully be around for a wee while!

Welcome to the forum.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town and any Toke & Talks that are planned.

First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

Just sat and read the guide there. Great read, but it was written on 2004 so im worred it may be a little out of date in regards to the tram/train/subway systems!

Is it still basically the same idea? Buy a 'stripkaarten' or whatever and this should last us the 5 days??

Actually, you can buy a multi-day pass for the trams, buses, and Metro now.

Enjoy

No need to buy a pass for the trams - just use the map on here, most CSs are easy to walk to.

Enjoy your trip - what a great way to celebrate your 21st la` !

You have been posted on the March and April Whos In Town pages.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
Your April trip is over 420, lots of people in town.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop (your favorite)
and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to show up, if they do you'll have a
T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=80895

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.

I was a bit slow on picking up on this one. Hope you can join us at one of the 4-20 events. We usually get a wide range of age groups so you and your dad should fit in nicely.
