best smoker friendly hotel close to all the action

hi im looking to get to amsterdam end of this month for a few days.
going for my 1st trip alone been a few times so no my way around
most hotels ive stayed in are no-smoking but we still smoked
but as im alone would perfer a hotel thats ok with it so no need to worry

I would start with the coffeeshops that have accommodations. Voyagers, Utopia, Rookies, Greenhouse Effect, etc.

for location, any of the above are good suggestions... everything is relatively close in the Centrum.

Bed & Coffee is good, but it's in the Pijp, so not downtown. But it would be a good location. Close the the Albert Cuyp market, and to a few great Coffee Shops, and a small RLD.

I also really like the Flying Pig Uptown, it's near Vondelpark, so a short walk to "The action" but it's a good spot if a hostel is ok for ya.

green house efect seems a little expensive with a shared bathroom booked at hotel 83 any1 stared there? mixed reviews but ive been dam a few times and stayed in my fair share of rats dens from ostar to 5star so 4 a few nites im thinking this 1 purly for its location

I would most recommend the voyagers.
Near the center, near the train station, and one of the best CS around.

Hotel 83 is smoker friendly. They just ask that you open a window and not set off the smoke alarm. There are financial implications of a false alarm leading to the Fire Service being called.

The Hotel is located above a Bar which is also smoker friendly. Place called Cafe Remember.

Just hope that there is not a heat wave during your stay as there is no A/C.

Also I stayed in an ensuite room on the top floor which was reasonably quiet. YMMV with a different room.

Free brekkie which starts and ends pretty late. Enough time for a wake and bake and munchie session every morning!

Right at Dam Square is the De Roode Leeuw - stayed there twice last time in 2011. Smoking rooms. Nothing special and a bit more cost but a very central location with no hiding in the bathroom to smoke!

We smoked tobacco and weed until we couldn't stay awake! lol I did bring with me a natural orange spray - really does smell like fresh orange peels - and we sprayed that several times. No issues at all!
