9 days of smoking 12/9-21/9 my 2012 bday smoke-a-thon

Post by cantona7 »

so as a lot of you folks know my trip almost didn't go down. so when i was finally able to go it was that much more rewarding

10-11th september travel days

6 pm jump on the 1.5 hr shuttle bus from camano island to seatac airport just outside seattle. grab my hotel and end up watching sports center and smoking doobs outside the hotel all night as the bed/pillows were shit and couldn't sleep. 3 am arrives i get dressed, one last doob outside seatac airport. jump on my 6 am flight to chicago. got a whole row to myself....not. at the last minute 34 passengers from a fishing trip get on the plane and its full. o fucking well im on my way to dam! land in chicago and start my 6 hr stay there. no biggie, i amuse myself playing football manager and watching dvd's.line up for the 5 pm flight to dam and the stewardess tells me flght is full..oh fuck that not again. then at the last minute she hands me a ticket and explains she was wrong...isle seat in economy plus..score!
day 1
7.5 hrs later im in schipol going through customs and buying my tickets for the train. i arrive at centraal and there is my good friend panog waiting for me with his friends. hand shakes are given jokes are told and we are off to voyagers. check in is a breeze..got the nice room with balcony. walk down stairs and panog and his friend have already rolled up some fatties as i proceed to buy a gram of chocolope kush nd a sleestack cross....ahh good to be back. discussions of current events and politics are had before we move on to utopia. was nice to meet nel and loved the grand cru and champagne haze. from there its wok to wok...hell yea they have udon noodles now..the Japanese food fan in me cant resist. after this slightly full and jet lagged i parted ways with panog and went back to voyagers for a quick nap as it was around 5 pm now. woke up again 9 pm and phoned panog. met at utopia for some smokes then hit nes to see dc. interesting night that was! good to see ya dc! stayed there till closing then walked around smoking. went back to voyagers to get panog the carton of 200 cigs i got for him at duty free then once again parted ways. had a long sleep that night that prepared me for day 2. day 2 to come when i have time. managed to get strep throat on the trip so recovering from that as i type.

panog if your reading this thanks for hanging out, your always welcome here in seattle..if all goes well in november perhaps june 2013 and beyond will be a good time.

educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

thanks folks. i didnt take any notes so im just going off the top of my head with what i DO remember.

day 2 sept 13(my birthday

went to bed around 3 m. woke up and was literally feeling like shit. something i ate the day before was not agreeing with me. as i walk to the nearest chemist for some pepto i hit the atm. as i put my card in its declined. phoned home and apparently in my rush i forgot to phone my bank and cc company to say i was leaving. quick call to capitol 1 and sterling bank ..closed..please call back during business hours...which are in another 5 hours..fuck. go back to my room..few smokes and hrs later i call them back and its sorted. mid afternoon but still able to meet gapie and stillsmokin. the delay was not the best start to my birthday but whatever. gapie and still smokin show up and the usual handshakes and introductions are given. quick trip to nes for beers and smokes. joint after joint is passed, we are all high by the time gapie's friends show up...good guys and pleasure to meet them too. me and still smokin then hit burger bar. 200g irish beef with bacon and frites..yum. after the meal stillsmokin and i hit siberie as he had never been. 10 minute walk and we are there. 1 gram casablanca hash and a sativa for me and a gram of caligum for stillsmokin. the caligum was a top smoke as was my casablanca. a few drinks and joints later and we part ways. i head back to voyagers for a smoke then hit the kip. i remember sleeping very well!

stay tuned for day 3 and some wonderful exodus kush from voyagers.

It's stories such as yours that make me think twice about purchasing that annual buddy pass for $1K.

Happy belated birthday, nonetheless.

oh yea. see though in my 27 years of flying this was the first time this happened to me. aside from flying to hawaii io always pay full fare to fly there..always full. also usually only pay 150-200 to fly to europe. i see what ya mean though. i tend to travel during the non tourist season..empty flights. i prefer that time anyway.

nope. not like this time anyway. iv been bumped a flight or two but always managed to get out the same day unless i decided to just hit a hotel because i was too tired.

my 2010 trip to dam/london i got bumped but they closed heathrow for 4 days and all the flights got backed up and full of stranded full fare passengers and passengers from other star alliance airlines.
