Re: Last Resort
Last Resort is an American military drama television series created by Shawn Ryan and Karl Gajdusek for ABC and produced by Sony Pictures Television. It debuted on Thursday at 8:00 pm (ET) on September 27, 2012. The show is about the renegade crew of a United States Navy Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine, the fictional USS Colorado (SSBN-753), that receives an order to launch nuclear missiles at Pakistan. When Captain Marcus Chaplin (Andre Braugher) asks for confirmation, he is relieved of command. His second in command, Lt. Commander Sam Kendal (Scott Speedman), also questions the orders and the vessel is fired upon by the USS Illinois (SSN-786) and two nuclear strikes are also made on Pakistan.

Never heard of it but from this trailer it looks a lot like the Crimson Tide-Nimrod wrote:Anyone watching?

Isn't Shawn Ryan the creator fo the Shield? If its anywhere near as tense as that I'll look out for it.

I saw the first episode. It was alright, though some of the characters seemed very one dimensionalNimrod wrote:Anyone watching?
Re: Last Resort
cancelled after 6 episodes but still run for 13, was okay at best you could tell by later episodes budget had already gone to other shows

'Crimson tide meets Lost' must have sounded golden at the pitch meeting. More of a brown description in reality.billyriz wrote:cancelled after 6 episodes but still run for 13, was okay at best you could tell by later episodes budget had already gone to other shows
How much did you produce?

It had a decent cast of well known tv actors and some bigger names, first couple of episodes was good but in america if you dont hit certain ratings straight away then your screwed,
to be honest i dont think they could do a lot with it after 1 season
apart from repeating storylines just with different countries involved
