Will the new coffeeshop-law affect you?

Post by Liv »

Hello everybody!
We are a couple of girls from Denmark who are going to Amsterdam for one month to study coffee shop culture and the new wietpas law. We are looking for somebody who can show us some good coffee shops, give their opining on the new law and teach us what to smoke and what not to smoke. :)
If anyone has time we are in Amsterdam from 28/10 to 25/11 and you are very welcome to post a replay here or write to my E-mail livgudmundsen@yahoo.dk
If you don’t have time to meet us in Amsterdam we would still like to hear your opining on the wietpas here on this blog.

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the October and November Whos In Town pages.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Ya know, it sounds to me like two recently legalized peeps who want a hand holder.
Just saying, another study/documentary? Isn't there one being done between the 11th and 14th of this month?
I suppose any excuse err... reason  to spend a month in The Mokum is a good one...

Just taking the piss...

Maybe you Danes could enlighten us with regards to "Fristaden Christiania" in Copenhagen... is that a viable tourist alternative to Amsterdam if the wietpas happens?

Thank you for all your answers! We are really looking forward to Amsterdam :D
Well Christiania is a great place, and there are lots of people selling cannabis even though it’s illegal in Denmark. Although, cannabis smoking and selling are tolerated in Christiania so there is occasional inspections and raids…

Hmmmmm has anyone seen that film 'Hostel' ?

Enjoy girls, and if you are serious about 'learning' about the coffeeshop system etc. Then you cant go wrong with visiting the Amsterdam Cannabis College. They are a wealth of free info.

Infact come to think of it, the Cannabis College require volunteers all the time. I nearly did it once but couldnt find a job to maintain me so it never happened. If you have a month there, you could offer to help there, the amount of cannabis culture and coffeeshop culture info you'd pick would be amazi g.

Was really nice to meet you both yesterday!
I hope that plenty of other folks want to fill in your questionnaire, although with the wietpas now almost certain not to be implemented nationwide, the answers may be different.
