Going to Amsterdam for the first time 5th-9th November

Post by alexluckham »

I am going to Amsterdam for the first time on the 5th-9th November. I will be going with my girlfriend only.

It would be really nice to meet some like minded people during my visit and maybe have a smoke and a chat (my girlfriend isnt the biggest smoker). I am 18 years old and from uk.

Just somebody to smoke with who appreciates a good chilled smoke and very chatty outgoing etc would make my trip. Is it fairly easy to come by these sorts of people in Amsterdam and how exactly would you get chatting to some friendly people. For example in a pub in uk u might be drunk and go outside and have a fag and you ask to borrow someones lighter because you lost yours and you might be like "hi my names alex by the way" and have a little friendly drink and chat from there.

How does the atmosphere in a coffee shop when your high alter the way you interact with people etc?

You have been posted on the November Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.

alrite mate??

I undertsand exaclty what u mean bro, i live in central London, and it is pretty true to see poeple getting to know other poeple juste during a couple of drinks then they leave without asking a facebook or mobile number...... english mentality is just having fun at the local pub...

in my experience when i am chillin in cofee shop playing card game with friends there is sometime poeple asking to join the game..... so we talk and test their weed and they test my weed......

i think if you are like a social minded you will be 100% okay, last time i was at the Green house effect having a cofee and big spliff and a guy sitting next to me was asking me a lighter and we finally ended speaking for two hours... we were debating over all weed and how to grow efficiently and stuff... then he left and i left couple spliff later and i felt like WOW i just love cofee shop you sit eat smoke talk with a foreigner and you just have a good time....

these kind of stuff make me addicted to cofee shop lol

anyway you see what i mean....

if you need any help regarding cofee shop, weed choice and stuff and what to do over there let me know.

Hey bud, I'll be over there from 4th to the 9th. There are a few TnT's planned so perhaps we'll see you and the missus at one of them?
