Its only 30 minutes walking from Centraal Station or the Dam. And 15 - 20 minutes from Haarlemmerstraat, think Barney's, Greenhouse or the Dampkring. You can also take the 22 from CS to the Nassauplein and walk from there. That will take about 15 minutes or so. Taxi will take less than 10 minutes and cost about €10.
