Center Parcs Zandvoort at Christmas
Has anyone stayed at this resort? It looks idyllic as a home base for the week of Christmas - to have a cottage with a Christmas tree to come back to after trips to the City. We've never been to this town (have travelled to the Hague, Maastricht, Amsterdam, Haarlem) or this beach. Any info is greatly appreciated!!! (I did use the search on this site for this resort and it came back with no results)

Hi there, I've been to Zandvoort a few times but we didn't stay at Center Parc, we did check it out for bringing over the family, although in the end we got a large house further south in Zeeland.
Are you going with children?
It's OK and you could have a good summer holiday there, but I wonder what it might be like at Christmas. Zandvoort is a lovely town but top prices because of it's proximity to Amsterdam, and would there be a lot of people around. A deserted holiday camp at the seaside in the winter. could be interesting. I looked at their website and the Christmas prices are quite high so maybe they do get busy then.
There are lots of cottages, apartments and houses in that area and I can see that a brisk stomp along the beach on Christmas morn does sound like the thing to do.
Have fun

What a long strange trip it is.

Thanks for all the info Spidergawd! What I really want is to rent a cottage/house where I can put up a christmas tree for the week we'll be in town (it's also our wedding anniversary) and a fireplace would be nice, too. No kids for us - we chose mucho travel over kids 2 decades ago! lol If you have any recommendations for house rentals please let me know - need a smoke friendly one with good Internet connection (I still have to work over the holidays but since I'm in social media marketing I can luckily do it anywhere on earth as long as I have a good signal!)
