In search of the magic 'phat' buzz September 23,4th 2012

In Amsterdam in September I was hosting a T&T at Voyagers. A few folks had turned up and we were all chonging away. Joints, bongs being passed. Lots of different strains about from various different places.

At that time someone passed me a joint and I took 2 or 3 hits then passed it on. However the buzz and I do mean BUZZ I got from those hits was just magical. something I have not experienced for many years.
That happy 'phat' feeling of a nice head buzz. Like having your head wrapped in cotton wool with a nice buzzing sensation radiating outwards. Literally like having a fat head in a very nice relaxing, calming way.
Alas the feeling passed all too quickly and was replaced by something different as the joints continued to make their rounds.

So my question is what was the hash/weed that gave that buzz?

I know it was nothing I had bought that day or any other on that trip. More than anything I'd love to find and grow/make that hash/weed so that experience could be repeated again.

Who was there that day? My memory if as always patchy in Mokum. For sure Stillsmokin, Nick from the East of Holland (who might post here under the name of Hasj?) Stan and a young gent who was at the time new to the ACD forums and whose name escapes me (sorry). Maybe more and if I forget again i apologize.

Yes I know this is vague but if anyone can remember and identify this buzz and what weed/hash gives it I'd be a very happy stoner.

Obviously I can't say for sure because I wasn't there but to me that sounds like something with less THC in it and more CBD or something with a more equal balance of both.. some sort of outdoor strain maybe? something more natural i.e: thai stick, durban poison, etc.

That's just my guess but it will be interesting to see if you manage to find out what it was cus that sounds like a great buzz!

I still haven't written down my smoke list from the trip, but still have all of them filter tips with what I had (about 93 at the last count! )... you'll have to have a look at em when I do, see if you spot anything that jumps out at you.

Only ever think I caught up with Hasj in Utopia a couple of times, so you're probably just thinking of Nik, but I think there may have been someone else there as well from the forum? Not quite sure either m8.

From your description, I'd have be tempted to think it was maybe more of an Indica (or like griff9 says - something with more CBD) - maybe a sativa based hash - the Black Gold (Durban Poison hash from Anyday) is what I might have had at that point

Definitely not me, Quazer confused the issue by saying I was the only pudgy one in Utopia the git hehe
But whoever was asking was talking about before I was in town and it was some guy called Nik from Maastricht.

I have no idea, but if I were attempting to replicate that sensation I would mix some silver bubble (voyagers/grey area) with some good temple ball (solo?).

If you try it, let me know if it works It'll be tasty regardless.
