Sitting in NYC - it has been all shut down since yesterday evening
But still, no rain, some wind ....okay so some trees down. But it is
Feeling like a lot of hype so far.

Think the big thing will,be the storm surge, high tide, full moon combo
And the never before flooding of our island.

Let's see if we really get a bang from this hyped up monster.

70-90 mph for 12 more hours...it's serious....12 inches of water...only 4. So far

.....for 2 more days ...I just went out side and yelled at her to go away..keep yer jars tight kids as the humidity will make yer smoke wet

People are really underestimating the power of hurricane sandy.when i wake up 2moro and check the news i can just see downtown manhattan completely flooded
anybody on the east coast go as far inland as you can

What's wrong with canals?

I think we are still in for big winds (90 mph especially in high rises). and rain, but it appears it is gonna hit land around Atlantic city and not New York City .... So we will not have the fearsome direct hit. Let ya know tomorrow.
