Not being a butthead or anything, but until you meet that person, don't judge him/her for what they write here. Lots of folk like to talk sh*t, just to see who's paying attention....looks like he's got yours.
I've had the pleasure of meeting UR at a 420 event a couple of years ago. Very nice guy, also very smart. Nice to talk too and likes to smoke lots of weed like the rest of us. Hope to have the pleasure of meeting him again, maybe next 4-20.

I'm curious to see what happens.... seems like the feds are gonna do something... but man... we, the people spoke... we voted and it won... and the feds are "SUPPOSED" to work for us the people (insert sarcasm), so why would they go against what the people have voted?

Without the support of the Local LEO's, I don't think the Feds can sustain a boots on the ground campaign to arrest every person smoking weed.
With that being said, the Feds could be pressuring the Governor and or State Legislature... something like if you don't figure out a way to stop this, we will withhold federal funds for this and for that... Politicians in Wash. could be putting the squeeze on the US Senators and Reps. from Colorado as well. Many ways to skin this cat...

This form of legislation by the people is seen by Washington, DC (Congress, White House, the rest of the brain dead within the Capitol Beltway) as a direct threat against THEIR sovereign right to govern and legislate the entire country, regardless of States Rights.
If the Feds attempt to block the Governor of either State from signing, that to me would be the first shot fired in the battle of States Rights.
Side note - knuckleheads in most "Red" States submitted to the President of the US petitions seeking to secede. I say - see ya. Most are fly-over States, and mostly the ones who are blocking national legalization anywho...

washington state has already set up their cannabis site on the liquor control board site. if the feds don't get involved the law will take effect on december 6 and the state will probably have a system for the sale of cannabis by this time next year.

Can you give us report how it went today? Was everyone smoking in the streets?
