Any Jamaican/Caribbean places in town? Not amazingly far from the centre?
I do miss curried goat, roti and festivals.

Forgot i made this thread.
Did a bit of research the last time i went (mid june) and found a place called Oceanz on AlbertCuypstraat.
First time i had walked that far down. Would of looked around a bit more, but i think with the heat (it was sweltering) and having smoked too much at La Tertulia enroute, i just wanted food and quickly.
Went there hoping for some nice Curried Goat, but no didnt have any. Okay, oxtail soup? No out of stock also.
So had to have jerk chicken. Thats fine, but wouldnt be my first choice lets put it that way. Was nice, and the rice and peas was fine aswell.
They didnt even have festival or ting. Now im sorry a jamaican place without 'Ting' is a friggin disgrace.
The owner was quite apologetic about having pretty much nothing that i wanted and was quite a nice guy. Said he only opened late last year and apart from the Surinamese and Caribbeans who live there they very rarely get local dutch people trying the food.
Will try again when im back in september. But if they dont have Curried Goat, let alone ting im walking out.
