Hagman told the Times that after death he wanted his remains to be "spread over a field and have marijuana and wheat planted and harvest it in a couple of years and then have a big marijuana cake, enough for 200 to 300 people. People would eat a little of Larry."

Also from the article:
David Crosby turned him on to LSD, which Hagman said took away his fear of death, and Jack Nicholson introduced him to marijuana because Nicholson thought he was drinking too much.

I think that I would want my remains used as fertilizer, and the resulting harvest smoked rather than eaten. Smoking is more of a final act...ashes to ashes. Having your remains ultimately digested, results in another journey that I find rather undignified.

For me he will always be.. Major Anthony Nelson... J.R. Ewing was too mean for me to ever associate to my hero from 'I dream of Jeanne'.. Never knew his mother was Mary Martin, another hero 'Peter Pan' and so much more.. She must have been very proud of him....

Hagman looked frail in that dodgy Dallas remake but he still had a twinkle in his eye and dominated the screen.

Couple of other great Larry Hagman performances include playing a decent old Senator with skeletons in his closet in Primary Colors.

Also Stardust, a 70s British Rock n Roll movie about the perils of fame in which he plays David Essex's very crooked and very annoying US manager- a sort of prototype JR
