Hi all, as some of you will remember I made a post about a trip I had planned for these days but a friend pulled out, I went solo in the end and had an amzing trip, was one of the best decisions I have made! I've been back for a while and just got over the post Amsterdam blues! Anyway I have a notepad filled fairly well with notes from my trip. So in the next 2 hours I will be etting my report properly under the way. What I plan to do is, pretty much just copy qord for word out the notepad so that it hopefully portrays the rame of mind I was in at the time of writing (usually a very high state of mind lol!)

Well if anyone has any input I'm happy to hear it, if not stay tuned as there will be a good upload of hopefully at least one full day in the next few hours

Well here goes, keep in mind I'm just writing what my nots were word for word.

Monday 24th September (1 day before I go)

Woke up feeling both excited and nervous about making this trip solo! Mum and Dad were somewhat trying to talk me out of going but I decide I'm going. Hoping that I don't end up bored or lonely but I figure since I'd be off work for the week anyway and all my friends were working or at college that I'd spend this week solo getting stoned here, or I could be in Amsterdam!

So after deciding I was going I went out to get my euros.

I'm just getting all my stuff ready to pack away into my case, whilst browsing ACD forums for the last time before I'm in the Dam.

Just finished packing my case, only the last minute things to do now. With just about 12 hours until I will be sitting on a plane to the Dam at 500mph. Going to get showered soon then walk the dogs and try to get an early night. Got enough weed in my grinder for 2 bongs so I'll do that just before bed and hopefully fall asleep fast!

That's it for the day before I went my next notes I'll write up just I get some food!

Tuesday 25th September

Arrived at Voyagers about 12:40 after a smooth flight and train connection at Schipol minus a hard time finding the ticket desk.

Into Voyagers,explain situation about friend,work out a deal and save 60euro on what I thought I'd have to pay. As I was being seen an English guy came in for a couple of grams of Kosher Kush whilst doing so he was telling me how good it was, so I took his word and just asked for 10euros worth and made my way to my room. I was staying in the basement the first night in a double then moving to the top room looking towards central station.

Got into the basement room, it's a nice enough room for what I needed it for. Decided unpacking was pointless on the first night so I rolled a quick spliff before heading out to buy a grinder and bong for the trip, and I'm going to stop by Grey Area aswell!

Found my way to Abraxas for a grinder perfectly and smoked my small spliff on the way (first smoke back in Amsterdam) it was an excellent smoke, the taste was brilliant and it very strong to match. i headed towards GA and seen a couple shops selling bongs but nothing caught my eye, so I'll wait for now. Got to GA and as usual no seats, but there wasn't a queue either so it wasn't all bad. Asked to see the Silver Bubble as I really liked it last trip but it was only ok looking, so I asked to see the Casey Jones, lovely smelling not as nice smelling as the KoshKush from Vovagers but I haven't smoked any yet.I'm just about to head upstairs to the C/S and maybe join the T&T..also must get wi-fi password!

**Thats all I'll do tonight got another 7 pages on notes to round off my first day in the Dam, so I'll try to get them posted tomorrow**

Went upstairs and seen what must have been the T&T but it was packed so I thought I'd just chill and people watch out the window. Rolled up my second joint of the trip...and totally fucked it up! Rolled it again and all was good Whilst gazing out the window I seen the craziest guy I've ever seen! He was an oldish tramp looking character who came along and started raiding the bin for food, so he got some and stood scraping it out and eating it. I felt sorry for him and was thinking about giving him 10euro, glad I didn't! Out of nowhere he started going berserk at the people near by! Screaming,waving his arms and snapping at everyone! He was no more than 10 feet away from Voyagers door and I really thought he was going to come in but thankfully he didn't. Tyat woulda been one hell of a start to my first solo trip!

Left voyagers in search of a bong, found a nice boost one for 40euro. Oh! I visited utopia during my search and picked up some Amnesia Haze 11e, not great..was slightly damp as well. Also tried the Casey from GA, nothing special really, smelled really nice but it didn't live up to it (6.5/10). Going to head out for fries then maybe get my head down for a bit.

Got my fries. Then popped into Green Place but wasn't impressed by the budtender. Picked up 1g of Lemon O.G then popped into Voyagers again for more Kosher, also got the Chocolope Kush, not smoked yet. Rolledn a nice Kosher,Casey and Lemon O.G big joint! Loaded the leftover into my bong and had a stealthy hit out the window then headed outside to smoke the J. Plan to go to sleep for an hour or 2, then get up about 9 go for a coffee and a joint as well as pick up some more of the good stuff. After that I'll maybe hit another C/S before grabbing a Burger Bar on the way home! Before heading to bed.

Sorry for the delay, hope everyone had a good xmas and new year! I've been busy over the festives and busy booking my next trip to the Dam for a few weeks time, I'll be there with a mate fron the 9th-13th February so not far away . Anyway I'll be continuing from where I left off tomorrow after work and hopefully get the report finished before my 3rd trip lol!

I will look forward to that report, I go late February and reports around the time of a planned trip are the best source of current info.

Were you around same time as me? I remember having a few TnT's at Voyagers around this time. We had the table in the middle one evening which was fun.

Right update at last!

My earlier plan went well, only got about one hour of sleep though. Got to Amnesia and asked the budtender what he recommends, asked to see bot a sativa and indica strain, for the indica he showed me LSD but the smell lacked a punch and it was mostly shake left, so he showed me the Pineapple Kush but it was the same as the LSD, shake! He then showed me their Amnesia Haze and Amnesia Lemon, I opted for the lemon as I wasn't rating the Lemon O.G from Green Place.

I grabbed a seat opposite the budtender and rolled up a nice Amnesia Lemon joint, it burned well enough but the ash was quite black so maybe not flushed properly? Only a tinge of lemon in the smoke. The smoke was pretty strong and I actually had to really concentrate to ride out a potential whitey! Manged to ride the storm and it soon passed though. I still thought that at 14euro it was overpriced but hey ho! After about 45mins in Amnesia I headed off in the direction of Burger Bar! Nice place and the staff were friendly and having a laugh with some customers, got a lovely black angus burger too. After 10mins I gpt my food and was on my way for the short walk back to my room to eat then write this report, and going to work on reducing my stash.

Plan for tomorrow? Get up around 9/10, clean up, get washed then pack up etc to get ready to leave the basement and move to the single room upstairs. Then I'll probably have a smoke after that then head out for some toasties I think, also hit Grey Area and maybe Barneys too.
