I suppose it boils down to what constitutes a coffeeshop,good weed,comfortable environment,toilets,decent drinks,etc etc,plus i would add could you have a T&T in it,Grey Area is over hyped as a Coffeeshop for example and their service is much to be worked on.

I've never been to voyagers, but after your reviews I promise I'll be there when ill be in town. Also in my opinion grey area is a little bit overrated because of its prices and service and available space, of course. But they've got excelent products. O.T. Did anybody know if every coffeeshop is open on May 1st, because here in Italy is Workers' Day and every shop is closed, is the same in the Netherlands?

Doubtful. I'd say most if not all will be open in the dam.

The only CS I'd probably buy green from is Club Media as it's the only place that I found after my last couple of trips that actually knows how to prepare it! Fully manicured and flushed very well. The stuff I purchased at Grey Area looked lovely and was well trimmed but when I smoked it it was too harsh to have been flushed well. I always visit Bush Doctor for some of their fine Iceolator. I just thought I'd throw this in too: on my last trip my friend (first timer) was adamant that we went to Greenhouse so, reluctantly, I took him. He bought a gram of Super Lemon Haze and we found 3, yes THREE, seeds in a gram. I went back to complain as we hadn't gone far and the rude budtender just said 'that's how it's supposed to be' I argued that a well known CS like Greenhouse shouldn't be selling hermied bud but he was adamant that that's how it is supposed to be. Just some further evidence to reinforce the fact that I won't be stepping foot into a Greenhouse again.

Free seeds! Plant them and grow some lovely seedless bud. In a legal environment of course. That way you will have the ultimate revenge. Provided to you by your tormentor. All the better.

There are 220 coffeeshops, dont go only to Chain Expensive coffeeshops in the centre.

People generally like to stay around the centrum AFAIK because that's where the best weed is?

My three favorite (until now) are:

1- Voyagers
2- Club Media
3- Paradox

After my recent trip I've changed a few votes. Green Place lost its position in the top 3 after I get 2 diff. kinds of hashes when asked for their Twizzla (that just happened once, I bought Twizzla 3 times there and 2 times was ok).

Here are my fav. in order:

1- PARADOX = The new decor is fantastic. Ambient is amazing. Music (Jazz) is great. Service is kind and attentious. 100% Sativa was one of the best weeds of my trip and Wash Hash was one of the best hashes.

2- CLUB MEDIA = Very quality weed and hash, great ambiente (almost zero tourists burning your fuel hehe), and the things from the Cafe are awesome.

3- VOYAGERS = Best weed of Amsterdam. Period.

420 - Great location, always feel welcome, cool staff, chill tunes.

Paradox - Cool budtender, nice weed, 5e deals, friendly customers, relaxed vibe.

Tweede Kamer - Cool staff, cosy little place, lots of other good cs close by, riffman hash.

All the kinda places i'd feel happy to take the girlfriend, not overpowering music blasting cs, laid back and comfy.

Only been to voyagers once quite early in the day, great weed but had a bit of a hectic vibe going on, probably had something to do with it being the first day of the c cup, getting ready for the craziness the lay ahead. Will give it another try when I get back over in a couple weeks maybe later in the day see if it's a bit more chill then.
