Talking of boats, should we attempt another group trip this year?
Our history of boat trips has been a bit mixed but always been fun, even when they didn't happen!
In 2007, AzLaker organised a cruise. Lots of us turned up at Rookies but the boat broke down. We had a mega session in Rookies though!
In 2008, four of us went on the St. Nic boat.
In 2009, we got a reasonable group on the St. Nic boat.
In 2011, a bigger group went out on two boats from Voyagers.
Last year, 2012, we again assembled a good-sized group in Voyagers but again a broken boat tried to spoil our plans. We improvised and crossed the IJ on the free ferry instead though.

Well I've had to change my dates. It looks like 420 will have to await another year. My new dates are 4/23/13 leaving late 5/3/13. Oh and I have a HouseBoat this year no hostel!

What about those beer bike tours, where we all pedal together with a bar in the middle The wife and I saw a one a couple of years ago
around the Spui area. Seemed liked fun and couldn't be that expensive. Maybe we can have him/her stop at a C.S. or three for a fly/buy.... Just a thought.

Sorry about being gone . But theres been a lot of illness here and i've been running a lot.
YES I am willing to help however I can.
We need to set up some crawls.
Trad...how about setting up a crawl that features 1e hulp ,we all had a super, super time there last year . Along with a few other shops in the area ??? Your staying near there arn't you ?? Youll also need to set up a little something in the alb cup area too. With Kazu ,club media and a couple others to round things out ...and wile your out in the cup area you can go to the bazzar resturant if you want ,this place is super
And we can't forget a big run thru the central area this crawl should include coffeeshops utiopa. greenplace and,voyegers plus some other favorites.
So let's get back on track and bring this party on

what about renting a boat and taking anice 420 cruise smoke eat drink, enjoy the canals for a few hours, can always stop and hit up shops during the cruise.

Good to see some Cup plans developing. Thanks for the inspiration Hestia. I know you'll be there in spirit.

Not sure about the closing shops tour. I'd prefer to assume that it won't happen.

I like the idea of getting the whole group together in one boat. Rentaboat might be the answer. Sunday looks quite busy so Friday might be a better day to aim for. Thursday or Monday are also alternatives but there will probably be fewer of us in town then.

A stoner boat tour is always a good idea

I like the idea of a boat tour. The tour we did 2011 was one of the best things I ever did in Amsterdam. But the weather was perfect too. If we plan a boat tour for this year I would like to have all in one big boat (smoking must be allowed). What about this "sloeps" .

I know 'Hertz' does boat rental in Amsterdam since last year, with or without captain.
